We are pleased to invite you to our first physical luncheon of the year with Ms. Trista Bridges and Mr. Donald Eubank, Co-founders and Principals of Tokyo-based international specialty advisory firm Read the Air, who will deliver a speech titled “Net Zero 2050 – Opportunities in Sustainability”.

Aligning with many countries around the world, both Switzerland and Japan have announced that they will aim to be “Net Zero” for Greenhouse Gas emissions by 2050. While many challenges lie ahead for countries working to achieve this ambitious goal, the effort will also open up many new opportunities—particularly for business. Drawing on case studies from their sustainable business advisory work, Ms. Trista Bridges and Mr. Donald Eubank have explored this timely subject in their recent book “Leading Sustainably” from Routledge. For the SCCIJ, they have prepared a special presentation that will address the central role business will play in achieving net zero, the potential opportunities that lie ahead in the coming years, and practical steps for how organizations can launch and accelerate their journeys to sustainability.

Mr. Donald Eubank is an experienced manager who has worked across the IT, finance, and media industries in Asia for the past 25 years. As a co-founder of Read the Air, he serves as an important advisor to businesses that are integrating sustainability into their core strategy, guiding their teams to lead sustainably and apply critical tools for managing their impact.
