The communication program Vitality.Swiss informs about Swiss future initiatives on the way to the Expo 2025 in Osaka-Kansai.

Swiss pavilion

Switzerland and Japan share many values and aspirations, built on a friendship spanning almost 160 years of history. Both countries also face shared challenges, such as climate change, global health, aging societies, and digital transformation.

Switzerland has already confirmed its Expo 2025 participation with a national pavilion to work with Japan and foster solutions to these important challenges. In resonance with Expo 2025’s theme “Designing future society for our lives”, the Vitality.Swiss program explores solutions and scenarios for a vitalized future along three themes: Healthy Life, Sustainable Planet, and Human-centered Innovation.

Healthy life Switzerland is a source of excellent governance, healthy lifestyles, forward-looking nutrition, and medical excellence.

Sustainable planet Switzerland is a source of sustainable prosperity, carbon-zero solutions, expertise in green finance, and intelligent regional revitalization.

Human-centered innovation Switzerland is a world leader in innovation that ensures healthy ways of living and a more sustainable future
through pioneering research and entrepreneurship.

The program’s website features thematic content in a variety of formats, side-by-side with a wide array of events and initiatives. Alongside digital content, the program itself offers in-person and hybrid/online events to foster exchanges of knowledge, thought leadership, and co-creation between Switzerland and Japan.
