Swiss Design Meets Edo Craftsmanship

Representative Director of Victorinox and Executive Member of SCCIJ, Ms Mamiko Tanaka, kindly invites members and friends of SCCIJ to visit their shop at Grand Front in Umeda and get the rare opportunity to order a custom-made Victorinox Evowood pocket knife calligraphed with a personalized message or name with Edomoji in genuine Urushi lacquer. It will be a unique opportunity for you to experience the craftsmanship of Edo Culture as you can meet Mr Unokichi Tachibana, a calligrapher who is the official successor of the Edomoji/Tachibana-style Yosemoji.

These special, custom-made knives will be available in two sizes with a starting price of JPY 18,300+tax, and production will take approximately two months until it will be ready for pickup at the store. As well you will have the opportunity to browse around and experience the exciting products and benefit from 10% special discount during that event only.
