  As of January 1, 2012, Hirokazu Omaki retired from his position as Representative Director of Victorinox Japan Inc. He has been succeeded by Mamiko Tanaka.

• January 04, 2012 Credit Suisse Appointed Olivier Thiriet as Japan CEO

  Olivier Thiriet was appointed CEO for Japan, effective January 1, 2012. He takes responsibility for Credit Suisse's overall franchise in Japan across its Private Banking, Investment Banking and Asset Management divisions. He also heads the bank's cash equities business for Asia Pacific.

• January 04, 2012 Roche Diagnostics K.K.

  Wataru Ogawa retired from his position as President and CEO of Roche Diagnostics K.K. at the end of 2011. He was succeeded by Makoto (Mack) Ogasawara as of January 1, 2012.

  As of December 1, 2011, Joerg Duppenthaler has been appointed to President & CEO of Straumann Japan K.K. His predecessor, Roger Heinzelmann has returned to Basel, and continues to contribute to the Straumann business.
