Swiss national seeking an international relations position in Japan from 01.2018

I am a young professional seeking a stimulating work environment, preferably in the field of international relations, communication or international law. I am currently enrolled in an intensive Japanese language course that will bring my language ability to JLPT N1 by the end of this year. I am therefore available to work full-time starting January 2018. My background is in humanitarian and human rights law, having previously worked for 3 years for the Swiss Federal Office of Foreign Affairs (FDFA). On a personal level I have been in Japan since April 2016 and have become very passionate about Japanese language and culture, which has led me to want to settle in Japan for the foreseeable future. I am also currently a business English instructor for Berlitz, bilingual English-French and with a work-proficient level of Japanese and of German.

My main strengths are:

  • Experience in international relations, working in a sensitive multi-cultural environment
  • Overall knowledge of international politics, international norms and regulations, as well as the UN system
  • Experience with project management under strict budgetary regulations
  • Solid communication and drafting skills
  • Professionalism and the ability to be productive under pressure

For more information, my CV is available here.
