Trade Fairs
The most important trade fairs take place in Tokyo (Big Sight), Chiba (Makuhari), Osaka (Intex) and occasionally in Yokohama (Pacifico).
Tokyo Big Sight
Tokyo Big Sight (since 1996) is the biggest and most widely used location for international fairs. It is located in a convenient distance from the city center. All access information can be found here.
Makuhari-Messe
The Makuhari Messe exhibition center (since 1989) half way between central Tokyo and Narita Airport in Chiba is host to leading events such as the biannual Tokyo Motor Show. All access information can be found here.
Pacifico Yokohama
Pacifico Yokohama (since 1991) is a rather small exhibition center close to the waterfront of Japan’s second largest city Yokohama. All access information can be found here.
Port Messe Nagoya
Port Messe Nagoya (since 1973) is located on the edge of the port district south-west from the city of Nagoya. The railway line Aonami provides a direct link between Nagoya station and the exhibition site. The English website can be found here.
Osaka Intex
The exhibition site INTEX Osaka (since 1985) offers the biggest exhibition space in the Kansai area. It is located on “Osaka Nanko Cosmo Square” on the waterfront of Osaka. All access information can be found here.
Fukuoka Convention Center
The Marine Messe Fukuoka (since 1995) is half the size of the Yokohama location. All access information can be found here.
