EU-Japan FTA/EPA Seminar with Mr. Tommy Kullberg
The Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Japan, along with other European Chambers, has the pleasure to invite you to the EU-Japan FTA/EPA Seminar with Mr. Tommy Kullberg, Chairman of the European Business Council.
Earlier this year, the European Union and Japan finally agreed to start talks on a free-trade agreement that will potentially inject much needed fresh impetus into the economies of both Japan and the EU. With bilateral trade already at 110 billion euros a year, tackling all obstacles to free trade would release a big potential for business on both sides.
The EBC has been lobbying intensively for an FTA over the last few years. Outgoing EBC Chairman Mr. Tommy Kullberg, supported by a panel of EBC experts, will give you the latest status on the ongoing negotiations and will explain the EBC's position and input from the various business sectors represented by the EBC.
